This is our first album. Willy, the violist and guitarist, had been playing in the New York City subway for years as both a musical release and as a part-time job. Kelsey, the singer, had always written poetry and performed in gospel choirs. After meeting, they both became interested in making an album together and forming Paisley Faith. Most of the material in this album is highly collaborative, though the lyrics tend to be from Kelsey and the music generally comes from Willy. Making the album was more challenging than we expected. There were technical issues from recording at home, along with emotional situations that come from making music together. However, we did prevail! We are thrilled to have created music and we are proud to share it with you.
